Box Score 2 The Lindenwood Lady Lions split another series on Tuesday night in St. Charles. The Lady Lions won the first game 2-0 and lost the second game in extra innings 8-7.
Game one of the day was dominated by Lindenwood pitcher
Morgan Colvis. She pitched a complete game two hit shutout and struck out six hitters. Lindenwood got its run in the third inning when Brook Tiehes drove in the game's only runs. Diedre Meril also had a good day at the plate with three hits in three at bats.
The second game of the day saw both teams offense score early and often. The Spartans started the game off with three runs in the top of the first, one in the second, and one more in the third. Lindenwood answered with single tallies in the first three innings.
Trailing by two in the sixth inning, Lindenwood would tie the game up with two runs and send the game into extra innings. The eighth inning saw both teams score a run but the visitors brought across two in the ninth and the Lady Lions were able to score just one.

Madison Huot, and
Bailey Marshall all had two hits in the loss.
Lindenwood will wrap up its regular season this weekend when Emporia State and Washburn come to St. Charles.
