Box Score The Lindenwood baseball team finished its 2014 season with a 2-1 win over Harris Stowe State on Wednesday night at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after back-to-back doubles by Vallandingham and Prindle who each drove in a run. Harris Stowe State scored one run in the top of the second to cut the Lindenwood lead to 2-1.
Austin Klein tossed seven strong innings for the Lions allowing just two hits and struck out six batters en route to his team-leading sixth win on the year.
Wade Rothermich threw one shutout inning in the eighth and
Devin Breihan closed out the game with a shutout ninth inning to give Lindenwood its final win of the year.
The Lions close out the 2014 season with an 18-31 overall record with a 14-22 MIAA mark.
