Box Score Lindenwood wasn't able to carry its momentum after last night's victory into today's game, falling to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) 2-1.

IUP scored the first goal of the game just two minutes into the game off of a corner. That was the lone goal of the first half. In the second half, IUP scored another goal in the 46th minute.
Greta Banholzer put Lindenwood on the scoreboard with her fifth goal of the season, third of the weekend. Banholzer's goal was the final of the game, leaving the final score 2-1 in favor of IUP.

Lindenwood was outshot by IUP by an 11 to 8 margin. Lindenwood made the most of their shots and managed to have all eight of their shots on goal.
Carly Brengosz led all shooters with three shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net.
Victoria Gil had five saves in the game.

The loss drops the Lady Lions record to 2-4. Lindenwood's next game is their home opener against conference foe Bellarmine University on Oct. 3rd.
