Series Notes- Lindenwood women's hockey has a rare three-game series this week at the Lindenwood Ice Arena against Minnesota State. The two teams will play on Wednesday at 7 p.m., Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 3 p.m.
- Lindenwood enters play this week with a 6-11-1 overall record. The Lady Lions are coming off a split against No. 9 Bemidji State last weekend. The team's 1-0 victory in the first game of the series was the second shutout in program history, and also the program's second win over a nationally-ranked program.
- Minnesota State will come to Missouri with a 0-16-1 overall record on the season. The Mavericks fell to 0-3-0 in non-conference action last weekend with a 3-1 home loss against St. Lawrence.
- Minnesota State leads the all-time series against Lindenwood by a 10-0-0 margin. Last season, the teams played four times, with the Mavericks outscoring the Lady Lions by a 16-3 margin. Four of the ten previous games between the two schools have been played at the Lindenwood Ice Arena, with two each in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
- Lindenwood entered this season without a victory over a WCHA program, but it has now collected wins over two different WCHA schools. The Lady Lions have picked up a win this year over both St. Cloud State and Bemidji State.
- Minnesota State has played the toughest schedule in NCAA Division I, including going 0-12-0 against ranked teams. Lindenwood has played six nationally-ranked teams and it is 1-5-0 in those contests.
Lindenwood Notes- Lindenwood shut out Bemidji State in game one of last weekend's series by a 1-0 score. The Lady Lions scored the game's only goal at the 10:38 mark of the third period.
- Bemidji State won game two of the series by a 6-0 score. The Beavers scored two goals in each period.
- Lindenwood swept the College Hockey America weekly awards after the Bemidji State series.
Alyssa West was named the Player of the Week,
Nicole Hensley was the Goalie of the Week, and
Tae Otte was the Rookie of the Week.

Alyssa West scored the game-winning goal in game one of the series. She now has a team-high two game-winning goals this season.

Jordyn Constance and
Katie Nokelby assisted on the game-winning goal. Constance now has double-figure points on the season with 10. The assist was the first of the season for Nokelby.

Nicole Hensley recorded her first collegiate shutout against Bemidji State. She made 29 saves in that game, including 11 in the final period and two in the final 40 seconds.

Nicole Hensley also played the final 28:39 of the second game of the series. She finished the weekend with a 1-0-0 record, 48 saves, a 2.03 GAA, and a .941 save percentage.
- Lindenwood blocked 30 shots in the two games against Bemidji State, including 19 in its shutout victory.
Tae Otte led the team with six blocks.

Shara Jasper is tied for the team-high with seven goals and eight assists, and leads the team with 15 points. She is sixth in the CHA in points per game and goals per game, and eighth in assists per game.

Alyssa West is tied with her in assists.

Nicole Hensley is currently first in the CHA and fourth in NCAA Division I with 492 saves.

Alyssa West leads the team with two goals against Minnesota State.
Lyndsay Kirkham and
Katie Erickson have also scored against the Mavericks.
- Goalie
Nicole Hensley has a .898 save percentage in seven previous starts against Minnesota State. Her top performance came in game three last year when she made 45 saves and allowed just two goals.
- Both Minnesota State and Lindenwood has struggled on the power play lately. The Mavericks have not scored a power-play goal over the last eight games, while the Lady Lions have just one power-play goal in the last eight contests.
- Lindenwood is one victory shy of reaching its record for most wins in a season against NCAA Division I programs, and it needs two wins to tie the program record for most wins in a season.

Nicole Hensley was one of 40 players to participate in the USA Hockey Training Camp in December, including one of six goalies. She shared the ice with 16 members of the 2014 U.S. Women's Olympic team which won a silver medal.
- Lindenwood has a weekend off before resuming league play on Jan. 23-24. The Lady Lions will travel to Robert Morris that weekend to kick off the second half of conference action.
