Series Notes- The Lindenwood women's hockey team will play their first road games of the 2015-16 season this weekend, during a two-city, two opponent trip. The trip begins Friday evening from Durham, N.H. at 5 p.m. with a non-conference clash with the New Hampshire Wildcats. The Lady Lions will conclude their trip on Saturday afternoon when they visit the Northeastern Huskies in Boston, Mass. at 2 p.m.
- The Lady Lions continued their season with a two-game home series vs. the Ohio State Buckeyes this past Friday and Saturday. Lindenwood dropped the first game on Friday night, 5-1 and fell short on Saturday night, 3-2.
- This weekends matchups will mark the first all-time meeting between Lindenwood and either opponent. The two-games will also be Lindenwood's first all-time against any Hockey East opponent.
- New Hampshire finished the 2014-15 season with a record of 10-23-3. The Wildcats were picked sixth in the Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Northeastern finished the 2014-15 season with a record of 14-17-5. The Huskies were picked third in the Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll.
Lindenwood Notes- The Lady Lions are currently led in points by the trio of
Shara Jasper,
Sarah Bobrowski, and
Shannon Morris-Reade. Each has recorded a total of four points through the first four games.
- Jasper, Bobrowski and Morris-Reade are also tied for the CHA lead in points, with four.
- With two goals on the season, Jasper is currently tied for the team-lead with
Britannia Gillanders.
- During Saturday's 3-2 loss vs. Ohio State, senior
Rachel Weich scored her first-career goal during the third period while on the power play.

Nicole Hensley recorded 52 saves in two starts over the weekend, giving her 3,236 for her career and moving her into 9th place on the all-time list. The record of 3,809 is held by Brianne McLaughlin('06-'09) of Robert Morris.

Shara Jasper is currently ranked second all-time in Lady Lions history with 0.84 points per game. The current record, 0.92 points per game is held by Alison Wickenheiser (2011-2014).
- Lindenwood has improved on their special teams from a season ago. The Lady Lions power play percentage is currently at 12.5%, up from the 8.5% mark they achieved last year. The penalty killing unit is also working at a more efficent rate, killing off 90.9% of their opportunities, up from 84.4% during the 2014-15 season.
- Lindenwood was picked fifth in the preseason College Hockey America coaches poll. The Lady Lions went 7-11-2 in league action last year and will open up their conference schedule on Friday, October 30th when they host CHA rival Penn State for a two-game series.
