Tuesday's Game At A Glance• The Lindenwood men's basketball team looks to bounce back quickly after its first loss of the season when it travels to Illinois Springfield on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. game.
• Lindenwood is now 3-1 on the year after falling to Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday by a 67-62 score. The Lions led 62-61 with 2:22 left in the game, but the Tritons scored the final six points of the game.
• Illinois Springfield is 2-1 on the season and currently riding a two-game winning streak. The Prairie Stars earned a 101-52 victory in its home opener last Wednesday against Robert Morris-Springfield.
• Lindenwood is 7-1 all-time against Illinois Springfield, and has won seven straight in the series. The teams have met three times since the Lions moved to the NCAA Division II level, with Lindenwood winning all three, including a 72-63 decision last year in St. Charles. Two of those three games though have been decided by fewer than 10 points. The Lions are 2-1 all-time in games played in Springfield, Ill., including an 89-84 victory during their last visit in 2012-13.
• Tuesday's game is the final road game for Lindenwood for over a month. The Lions start a six-game homestand on Dec. 1, and they will not be on the road again until a Jan. 2 game at Washburn.
Lindenwood Notes• Lindenwood has held three of its four opponents below 70 points this year, and it ranks 66th out of 301 teams in NCAA Division II in scoring defense.
• Lindenwood is one of the top all-around shooting teams in the MIAA, ranking second in field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage, and seventh in three-point percentage.
• The starters for the Lions this season are shooting 51 percent from the field, while the bench players are making 38 percent of its field-goal attempts.
• Lindenwood's top three post players,

Zachary Biggs, are shooting 65 percent from the field.

Cory Arentsen has scored at least 20 points in three straight games. In that span, he is shooting 53 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range, and is averaging 26.3 points a game.

A Glance At The Illinois Springfield Prairie Stars• Illinois Springfield is 2-1 on the season. The program opened up the year by losing to Lake Superior State and defeating Findlay in Las Vegas, Neb. Last week, the team won its home opener over Robert Morris-Springfield.
• The Prairie Stars finished last season with an 11-16 mark, and they were 5-13 in GLVC play.
• Illinois Springfield has nine players averaging over seven points a game. Jamall Millison leads the team with 12.5 points a game, and Davi Austin and Zach Steinberg also average double-figures.
• The Prairie Stars are outrebounded teams by nearly five boards a game. Mark Weems has a team-high 6.0 rebounds, followed by Jamall Millison with 5.5.
