Series Notes:-The Lindenwood women's hockey team continues its 2015-16 season this Saturday and Sunday against non-conference WCHA opponent, the St. Cloud State Huskies. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 p.m. on both days from the Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.
-The Lady Lions are coming off of a 0-2-0 weekend series vs. the No. 1 ranked Wisconsin Badgers on November 20 and 22. Lindenwood dropped each game by four goals, falling 5-1 on Friday afternoon and 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.
-A season ago the Lady Lions and Huskies matched up on October 10-11 for a two game series in St. Cloud, Minn. The Huskies won the first game in shutout fashion, 2-0. However, the following night the Lady Lions offensive attack awoke, winning the game 5-3.

Emily Gunderson, and
Holly Dietzler tallied assists in the victory. The Huskies lead the all-time season series 5-1-0.
-St. Cloud State enters the weekend series with a record of 7-7-0 and 5-7-0 within the WCHA. The Huskies are winners of four straight games, including a two-game home series sweep of the Ohio State Buckeyes this past weekend. St. Cloud State is led offensively by Molly Illikainen who has totaled nine goals and eight assists on the season, while recording points in seven-consecutive games.
Lindenwood Notes-Following their goal on Friday afternoon at No. 1 Wisconsin, the Lady Lions became only the third team to score against the Badgers during the 2015-16 season.
-The Lindenwood 4-0 shutout defeat on Sunday marked the first time the team failed to score at least one goal during the current season. The last shutout defeat for Lindenwood was on February 27, 2015 at the hands of the Penn State Nittany Lions.
-Freshman goaltender
Jolene deBruyn made a team-high 54 saves during the Lady Lions 4-0 defeat on Sunday at Wisconsin. In four starts this season, deBruyn has posted a .933 save percentage and a 3.01 goals against average. Â
-In her start on Friday afternoon,
Nicole Hensley turned in a season-high 45 saves. Hensley has made 3,479 saves during her career, ranking fifth all time, and 330 behind the all-time mark of 3,809.
-The Lindenwood penalty kill managed to successfully kill off eight of its nine opportunities this past weekend at Wisconsin. Dating back to the October 31 contest vs. Penn State, the Lady Lions have killed off 16 of the 18 penalties against, and are operating at an 83.3% success rate. Â
-Freshman forward
Corbin Welsh continued her success in the faceoff circle this weekend in Madison, Wis. by winning 16 of the 30 faceoffs she took. Â

Shara Jasper currently leads the Lady Lions in shots with 65, the next highest total of 38 goes to
Sarah Bobrowski.
-The Lady Lions will hit the road once again as they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to do battle with the R.I.T. Tigers on December 4-5 from Gene Polisseni Center. The Tigers currently have a record of 4-12-0 and are ranked sixth within the CHA. R.I.T. is hosting Princeton for a two-game series this weekend.
