For the third straight week, a Lindenwood gymnasts earned MIC Gymnasts of the Week honors. Kierstin Sokolowski earned co-Gymnastics of the Week accolades on Wednesday.
 
Kierstin Sokolowski set Lindenwood's all-around record with a score of 39.175 in the team's tri-meet victory over conference rival Texas Woman's and Centenary. She won the event's all-around title, vault title, and floor title, and was runner-up on the bars. Her vault score of 9.875 tied a school record, and her floor mark was the second-high mark in Lindenwood history.
 
Sokolowski led Lindenwood to its sec­ond-highest team score in program history and its highest score in a home meet. The Lady Lions also set a top-five marks in every event but the vault.
 
The Lindenwood gymnastics team will be in action again on Sunday when it hosts Illinois State at Hyland Arena at 2 p.m.
