Box Score Lindenwood's men's lacrosse team scored its fifth consecutive victory and their second consecutive ECAC conference win. Today's game was the team's tightest of the season. Lindenwood's
Josh Coons helped lead the Lions to victory by scoring three goals, while
Graeme Hossack rounded up a game-high nine ground balls.
The first quarter was played very evenly, with both teams only scoring one goal apiece. Lindenwood shut Wheeling Jesuit out in the second quarter and scored three goals of its own, putting the score at 4-1. Lindenwood went into halftime with a 4-1 lead despite being outshot 21-14, but Lindenwood had only two less shots on goal, with the difference being 10-8.
In the second half, the scoring rate jumped, with Lindenwood scoring six goals in the third quarter, while Wheeling Jesuit wouldn't allow Lindenwood to pull away, scoring three. The fourth quarter was the only quarter in which Wheeling Jesuit outscored Lindenwood, scoring three, while Lindenwood scored two. Lindenwood walked away with a 12-7 win.

Connor Eskridge both had two goals each.
Steven Tusing wrangled in four ground balls.
Lindenwood went 2-0 in West Virginia, defeating Alderson Broaddus University on Thursday. Lindenwood's win moves its record to 5-0, with a 2-0 record in ECAC play. Lindenwood now gets ready to host another ECAC opponent in Mercyhurst University on March 28th.
