The No. 3 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team won its 28th consecutive conference game on Wednesday afternoon in Grand Junction, Colo., and moved one win away from another conference title. The Lady Lions defeated Colorado Mesa by a 17-6 margin.
Morgan Judd led Lindenwood offensively with five goals, followed by
Melissa Menchella with four.
Sophie Buelow had two scores, including the game-winner.
Jordyn Constance had a team-high three assists and finished with four points.
Molly Beckham had a team-high four groundballs, and
Bailey Knapton had seven draw controls.
Delaney Solomon earned the win in goal, making six saves while allowing just five goals.
Lindenwood moves to 10-0 on the year and 5-0 in RMAC action. The Lady Lions are in action again next Monday at No. 2 Lock Haven in a rematch of last year's NCAA semifinal contest.
