The No. 3 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team fell to No. 2 Lock Haven on Monday in Lock Haven, Pa. in a rematch of last year's NCAA regional finals. The Lady Lions fell by an 8-5 score.

Lock Haven was able to shut down Lindenwood's high-powered offense, allowing just nine shots on goal to a Lady Lions team that came into the game averaging 17 goals a game. Lock Haven scored the first four goals of the game and Lindenwood could never recover.

Rachel Ortell made three saves in goal and led the team with four groundballs. Constance had a team-high three draw controls, and

Molly Beckham had two caused turnovers apiece.

Lindenwood falls to 10-1 on the year. The Lady Lions will go for their fourth straight conference title on Friday night when they host Fort Lewis.
