The Lindenwood softball team closed out its home portion of the schedule with a bang on Wednesday night. The Lady Lions swept the McKendree Bearcats but the story of the night was senior Kendall Ryndak who no-hit the Bearcats in game one. Lindenwood won game one 8-0 then finished the sweep with a 7-4 win.

Ryndak was dominant in her last home start as a Lion. She struck out six of the 18 batters she faced and walked just two. The win was her ninth of the season and has now won four straight starts. Alexis Theis led the way offensively with two hits and two RBIs. Broke Tiehes and Deidre Merli also had a pair of hits each.

McKendree was able to put together a little more offense in game two but the Lady Lions had just a little more. Thing started off quickly for Lindenwood with two runs in the first. Lindenwood continued to score and had at least one run in every inning but one.

McKendree tried to muster a comeback late in the game with three runs in the sixth and one in the seven but it wasn't enough.

Morgan Colvis started for Lindenwood and earned her seventh win of the season. Merli had another goof offensive game with two hits including a home run.

The two wins extended the Lady Lions winning streak to seven and have an overall record of 16-32. Lindenwood will close out its season with games at Southwest Baptist and Central Missouri next weekend.
