Box Score The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team fell 13-8 to the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday afternoon in Painesville, Ohio. The Lions and the Storm played a close first half but the home team dominated the second half for the win.
Both teams played a tough defensive game in the first quarter. The teams each scored a single tally. The game opened up in the second quarter with Lindenwood scoring four goals and Lake Erie netting three. The Lions headed into halftime holding the 5-4 lead.
Unfortunately, for Lindenwood the second half was all Storm. Lake Eries scored nine goals in the final two quarters compared to the Lions three and held on for the win.
Spencer Elmore led the way for Lindenwood offensively scoring two goals.
David Corazalla chipped in with a goal and an assists.
The loss dropped the Lions to 11-2 overall and 4-2 in ECAC play. Lindenwood will be back in action on April 21
st at Rockhurst.
