The Lindenwood men's volleyball team fell in the final game of the UCSB Asics Invitational on Saturday with a 3-0 loss to former NAIA rival California Baptist. The final scores were 25-21, 25-19, and 25-22.

California Baptist hit .281 for the match, compared to .143 for the Lions. The Lancers had eight fewer hitting errors in the game, and collected three more blocks.

Jake Duckworth and
Ryan Moore both finished with double-figure kills. Duckworth had 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Other team leaders were
Adam Brewster with 20 assists,
Ryan Moore with two service aces,
Ryan Vorderer with five digs, and Moore and
Connor Hipelius with three blocks.

Lindenwood falls to 0-3 on the season. The Lions have their home opener on Saturday at 4 p.m. against Carthage.
