Synchronized skating finished second at the 2016 United State Figure Skating (USFS) Kickoff Classic November 18-20 Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Adrian College took first at the event while Ohio University finished third.

Head Coach Chelsea Wipfler assessed the performance and position of the team at this point of the season.  "We worked really hard the last week to change a full minute of our program," she said.  "Despite that, we skated cleanly.  We still have some minor things to adjust and polish, but overall, we are pleased with our results and the constructive critique we received from the judges."

Synchronized skating returns to the ice with another trip north for the USFS Porter Synchro Classic December 2-4 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The event begins at 9 a.m. Friday morning.
