The Lindenwood baseball team will look to take its two wins into this week as the Lions travel to Memphis, Tenn. to play Christian Brothers in a doubleheader on Wednesday, and come home for three games against Augustana (S.D.) on Saturday and Sunday at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

Last WeekLindenwood was off last week, but competed the week before to kick off the 2016 season. The Lions played Harris Stowe on February 4th and 5th at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo. Lindenwood defeated Harris Stowe in both games, with a 20-3 win on Friday, and a 13-8 victory on Saturday.Â

In game one, the Lions scored a run in each of the first five innings including a 10-run fifth inning.Â
Sam Baxter and
Drew Quinones each tallied three hits in the game, while Quinones hit a two-run home run in the first inning. Baxter drove in five runs on the day including one on his second-inning double, and a three-run triple that was part of the big fifth inning.

On Saturday, the Lions allowed Harris Stowe to hang around, but still managed to pull out a 13-8 victory. Quinones drove in a run on a two-out double in the fifth inning, and drove in two insurance runs on a triple in the bottom of the eighth.Â
Connor Law tossed five innings to earn the victory, while allowing just one earned run on three hits.

On The SeasonNathan Prindle is tied for first with a .750 batting average (3-for-4) on 10 plate appearances. Prindle drew four walks and was hit twice to tally a team-high .900 on-base-percentage. Prindle was 3-for-3 on stolen bases and scored seven runs.Â
Ryan Sosnowski is hitting .750 (3-for-4), with seven runs scored, and 10 putouts. Quinones has a team-high five hits on seven at-bats, with a team-leading seven RBI, one homerun, one triple, and one double.

Austin Georgen snagged his first win in game one, on four innings pitched, with six strikeouts.Â
Devin Breihan and
Andrew Eilers each tossed one inning and neither allowed a run or a hit.Â
Brendan Kleekamp appeared in both games, compiling two innings pitched, allowing just one run on two hits.

Lindenwood will travel to Memphis, Tenn. to take on Christian Brothers University for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Lions last played the Pirates in the 2014 season when Lindenwood defeated Christian Brothers 5-3 and 3-2 in Memphis, Tenn. Kleekamp picked up the win in game one, while Prindle hit a two-RBI double in the first inning to help give Lindenwood the lead. In game two, Prindle had one hit with two stolen bases, and
Geoff Hartlieb tallied his first save in two innings pitched. Â The Lions will host Augustana (S.D.) for a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12 p.m. at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo. Â Lindenwood has not played Augustana since the 2014 season, when it dropped all three games to the Vikings in Russellville, Ark. Â Hartlieb and Kleekamp each made two appearances in the three-game series, while Prindle registered three hits, with three RBI, and one run scored on the weekend.
