The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams competed in Kirksville, Missouri on Friday afternoon against Truman State University
Both teams took home a victory with the men outscoring Truman State 120-84 and the women outscoring the Bulldogs 105-99.
The Lions put together 12 total first place finishes between both teams.
Simone de Rijcke picked up 1
st place honors in the 1000-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. Also on the women's side,
Lexie Winnett finishes in 1
st place in the 50-yard freestyle and she finished 2
nd in the 100-yard butterfly
For the men,
Blake Logan had an impressive day. Logan picked up first place finishes in the 1000-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke. Other notable swimmers for the men include Zach Linder, who picked up a 1
st place finish in the 200-yard freestyle;
Justin Winnett, who picked up wins in the 400 yard IM and the 100-yard breaststroke; and
Matheus Isidro, picking up a win in the 100-yard butterfly.
Lindenwood will be in the pool again on October 21
st in St. Peters, MO as they compete in the Lindenwood Quad Meet.
