The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams competed in the Lindenwood Quad Meet in St. Peters on Saturday afternoon.
The men's team picked up victories against William Jewell College (179-51), Missouri University of Science and Technology (136-94), and Delta State (122-120).
The women's team picked up victories against William Jewell College (184-38) and Delta State (144-96).
The Lions put together 12 total first place finishes between both teams on Saturday afternoon.
The men's team picked up four individual first place finishes.
Haoning Chen won the 200-yd freestyle event with a final time of 1:41:58. Christian Vazquez won the 400-yd IM, while
Matheus Isidro picked up a victory in the 100-yd butterfly. Also,
Justin Winnett picked up first place honors in the 100-yard breaststroke with a final time of 55.24.
Erica Garcia picked up 1
st place honors in the 1000-yd freestyle and the 500-yd freestyle. Also on the women's side,
Lexie Winnett finished in 1
st place in the 50-yard freestyle and was involved in two 1
st place team finishes in the 200-yd medley relay and the 200-yd freestyle relay.
Ashley Holloway finished in first place in the one meter dive with a score of 282.89.
Lindenwood will be back in action on November 3
rd as they travel to Springfield, MO to compete in the Drury Invitational.
