Lindenwood Notes
• Lindenwood allowed just 62.0 points a game in its opening weekend of the season. The Lions have not allowed over 70 points in a season during the
Lance Randall era.
Â
• Lindenwood's offense took care of the ball last week, having just eight turnovers a game. The Lions rank fifth in NCAA Division II in fewest turnovers per game.
Â
• Lindenwood is looking for a 3-0 start to the season, which would be the fifth time it has accomplished that feat in the last seven years. The Lions went 3-0 to start the year just twice in their first 41 seasons as a program.
Â
• Since joining the MIAA, the Lions are 11-7 against GLVC programs, and they have won at least two games each season. Last season, Lindenwood went 2-0 with wins over Truman and Missouri-St. Louis.
Â
•
Chandler Diekvoss got off to a great start this season. Last year's second-team all-MIAA performer averaged 20.0 points and 6.5 rebounds at the MIAA/NSIC Classic. He also shot 56.7 percent from the field.

Brad Newman was the other Lion to score 10 or more in both games.

Â
•
Dominique Dobbs rejected five shots last week, and is tied for first in the MIAA in that category. Dobbs now has 38 blocked shots in 35 games at Lindenwood. Last season, he was first on the team and tenth in the conference in blocks.
Â
• Head coach
Lance Randall picked up his 300th career victory last Saturday, including his high school and European coaching stops. He is 160-105 as a collegiate head coach.
Â

Â
A Look At The Bulldogs
• Truman was a NCAA Tournament team last year, where it fell to Ferris State in the first round. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 22-10 record.
Â
• Truman has an inexperienced roster this season, with just four players who started the season with 25 or more games played while in a Truman uniform. Jake Velky and Nathan Messer are the top returners, as they both averaged double-figure points last season.
Â
• Zach Fischer was named the GLVC Player of the Week for the opening week of the season. He averaged a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, and he shot 77.8 percent from the field.
Â
• Head coach Chris Foster is in his fourth season at the school. He has a career coaching record of 65-29.
