Men's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Schedule

On Monday morning, the Lindenwood men's basketball team officially released its full 2026-27 schedule. The Lions will play 31 total games, including 14 at Hyland Arena.

The Black and Gold will travel to Carbondale, Illinois, on Oct. 20 to take on Southern Illinois in an exhibition matchup before opening the regular season on Nov. 2 at TCU. Following the season opener, Lindenwood will host back-to-back non-conference games against Central Bible (Nov. 5) and East-West University (Nov. 7) before hitting the road for the remainder of November. The Lions will travel to Nebraska on Nov. 11, followed by games at Omaha (Nov. 13) and Northern Iowa (Nov. 17). Lindenwood will then compete in the Stony Brook MTE, with games scheduled against New Haven (Nov. 24) and Stony Brook (Nov. 25), before wrapping up the month at Missouri State on Nov. 30.

Lindenwood will finally return to Hyland Arena in December, hosting four consecutive home games against Omaha (Dec. 5), Mission College (Dec. 8), Northern Illinois (Dec. 12) and Westminster (Dec. 15). The Lions will then close out non-conference play in Kansas with games at Kansas City (Dec. 19) and Kansas State (Dec. 21). Lindenwood will open Ohio Valley Conference play by traveling across the river to battle SIUE on Dec. 30 to close out 2026.

To begin 2027, the Lions will host UT Martin on Jan. 2 before hitting the road once again for games at Southern Indiana (Jan. 7) and Morehead State (Jan. 9). Following the game at Morehead State, Lindenwood will host four of its next five OVC games at home, taking on SEMO (Jan. 14), Tennessee State (Jan. 21), Morehead State (Jan. 28) and Eastern Illinois (Jan. 30). The lone road game during that stretch will come at Eastern Illinois on Jan. 16.

The final month of the regular season will begin with Lindenwood on the road for three straight games at Tennessee State (Feb. 4), UT Martin (Feb. 6) and Western Illinois (Feb. 11). The Lions will then close out the regular season with three of their final four games at Hyland Arena against Southern Indiana (Feb. 13), SIUE (Feb. 20) and Western Illinois (Feb. 27). The lone road game during that stretch will come at SEMO on Feb. 17.

The Ohio Valley Conference Tournament is set to be held at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, from March 3-6. The Lions have advanced to the OVC Tournament Quarterfinals in each of the past two seasons.
