The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams competed in the Drury Invitational in Springfield, Mo. on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
 
The men's team finished in first place with 993 total points. The women's team finished in second place with 1,116 points. 
 
The Lions put together 9 total first place finishes between both teams on Saturday afternoon.
 
Christian Vasquez picked up a first place finish in the 400-yd IM with a final time of 4:04.65. Justin Winnett picked up first place honors in the 100-yd breaststroke with a final time of 55.71. Grant Williams picked up wins in both diving events, scoring a 425.35 in the 1 mtr dive and scoring a 477.35 in the 3 mtr dive.

For the women, Simone de Rijcke picked a win in the 200-yd freestyle with a final time of 1:54.70. She was also part of the 800-yd freestyle relay team that finished in first place with a final time of 7:45.76. Ola Tomola picked up first place honors in the 200-yd backstroke with a final time of 2:10.45. Ashley Holloway picked up wins in both diving events. She picked up a score of 423.90 in the 1 mtr dive and a 427.75 in the 3 mtr dive.
 
Lindenwood will be back in action on November 11th as they travel to the University of Missouri-St. Louis to take on the Tritons.
