Saturday's Game At A Glance
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team ends its regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 4 p.m. contest at Missouri Western.

Lindenwood Notes
• Lindenwood reached the 20-win plateau last weekend, the first time it has done so since joining the NCAA. It is the eighth 20th-win season in program history, and the first since going 28-3 during the 2011-12 campaign.

• The Lions are 5-4 in MIAA road games this year, including wins in five out of their last seven contests.

• Lindenwood has won six out of its eight last contests. In the five MIAA victories during that stretch, the Lions are allowing just 60.8 points a game, and opponents are shooting 41.5 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from three-point range. All five opponents were held below their current season average, by an average of 13 points a game. The Lions also held Northwest Missouri to 12 points below its season average on Thursday.

• Lindenwood has clinched a spot in the MIAA Tournament, and it has now made the tournament all four years that it has been eligible. The top four seeds in the tournament will receive first-round byes, and the other eight teams will play a first-round game on Feb. 27 at campus sites. The final three rounds will be in Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City on March 2, 4, and 5. The Lions will be looking to advance to Kansas City for the third straight year.

• Missouri Western ranks 13th in the MIAA by averaging 64.7 points a game. The Griffons are seventh with a 70.5 scoring defense.

• The Griffons are one of the best teams in the conference in protecting the ball, turning it over just 10.9 times a game.

• Missouri Western has three players in double-figure points, and five players with a 8.6 average or higher. Cole Clearman leads the team with a 14.7 average. TJ Evans and Aaron Emmanuel also average over 11 points a game.
