The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams competed in the Show-Me Showdown on Friday afternoon in Columbia, Mo.
 
The men finished third overall as a team earning a final score of 391. The women finished fifth overall with it's overall score at 329 for the meet.
 
Haoning Chen performed well for the men, finishing fifth in the 200-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle. Jared Thornton also shined, finishing third in the 50-yard freestyle.
 
The women's team was led by Ewa Dymarek, who finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke. Lexie Winnett also helped out with a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle.
 
Lindenwood will be back in action against Truman State University on October 14th in Kirksville, Mo.
