The Lindenwood cross country teams competed at the Festival Year Fiasco in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday afternoon.
 
The men's team finished the event (8 km) in 3^rd place out of 8 teams with a final time of 2:12:48.7 (Average time per runner: 26:33.8)
 
Austin Crowe was the best individual runner for the Lions, finishing in 4^th place with a final time of 25:35.9. Jerod Broadbrooks was close behind, finishing in 6^th place overall with a final time of 25:46.4
 
The women's team finished the event (5 km) in 7th with a final time of 2:05:05.1 (Average time per runner: 25:01.1).
 
Kayli Brower finished the race in 15^th place with a final time of 23:43.5, while Najwa Chouati finished the race in 17^th place with a final time of 23:57.2.
 
Both teams will be back in action on November 3^rd at the MIAA Championships in Emporia, KS.
