The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams hosted the Lindenwood Tri Meet on Saturday afternoon as they competed against Delta State and Drury University.
The men's team defeated Delta State 147.00 - 93.00 and defeated Drury 131.00 - 91.00.
The women's team fell in both matchups.
For the men, Zach Linder led the way with a first place finish in the 200-yd freestyle and a first place finish in the 100-yd freestyle. Jan Hanzal (500-yd freestyle), Justin Winnett (100-yd breaststroke), and Cristian Vasquez (100-yd IM) each picked up first place honors as well. Other notable swimmers include: Haoning Chen (2nd place 200-yd freestyle), Daniel Jacob (3rd place 100-yd freestyle), and Kian Quigley (2nd place 100-yd butterfly). As a team, the men won the 200-yd medley relay and 200-yd freestyle relay.
For the women, Ashley Holloway shined, winning the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive. Other notables include Allie Steinhauser (2nd place in 3-meter dive) and Katie Werkema (3rd place in 3-meter dive)
Both teams will be back in action against Drury University on November 2nd in Springfield, MO.
