GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood football team (2-4) fell 41-14 to Nebraska-Kearney (4-2) on Saturday in Kearney, Neb. The Lopers controlled the ground game as they outrushed the Lions 314-82 and held the ball for more than 38 minutes.

Nebraska-Kearney held a 10-0 lead after the first quarter and made it a three-score game after running a fake field goal with 6:19 left in the half.Â
Cade Brister found
Cameron Sanders a few minutes later for a 38-yard touchdown pass. The Lopers responded with a solid drive to take a 24-7 lead heading into the half.

Lindenwood fumbled on the first play of the second half and Nebraska-Kearney immediately punched it in to go up by 24 points to start the third quarter. Brister ran it in for a touchdown with 4:14 to go in the third frame. Nebraska-Kearney added a field goal in the fourth quarter, and continued to stop the Lindenwood offense as the Lopers held on for the 41-14 victory.
