The Lindenwood men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Division II Central Region Cross Country Championships this past weekend in Joplin, Mo. The men's team finished the race in 12^th place. The women placed 22^nd.

Austin Crowe of the men's team finished in 17^th place for the Lions which was the highest individual finished. He finished the race in 30:59 which was just over one minute behind the race winner. Jerod Broadbooks was the next highest finisher with a 27^th place.

On the ladies side of the race Najwa Chouati was the top Lion placing in 54^th place. Mayce White finished in the top 100 in 87^th place.

The regional competition was the final race of the 2018 season for both the men and women.
