The Lindenwood cross country teams competed at the MIAA Championships in Emporia, KS on Saturday afternoon.
 
The men's team finished the event (8 km) in 5^th place out of 11 teams with a final time of 2:15:26 (Average time per runner: 27:06)
 
Austin Crowe was the best individual runner for the Lions, finishing in 9^th place with a final time of 25:59.8. Jerod Broadbrooks was the next closest, finishing in 14^th place overall with a final time of 26:25.3.
 
The women's team finished the event (6 km) in 9^th  out of 13^th with a final time of 2:04:01 (Average time per runner: 24:49.
 
Kayli Brower finished the race in 25^th place with a final time of 23:28.1, while Najwa Chouati finished the race in 36^th place with a final time of 23:50.2 and Maycee White finished the event in 37^th place with a final time of 23:51.6.
