Women's water polo won the regular season conference title in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Midwest Division with four wins April 7-8 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Missouri.

The Lady Lions only yielded three goals over the weekend while scoring 77.  The first victory was a 20-0 shutout against Washington University on Saturday.  They followed with a 16-1 win over Wittenburg University.  On Sunday, Lindenwood earned another 20-0 shutout, this time against Miami University (Ohio).  The Lady Lions completed the four-game sweep with a 21-2 win over Saint Louis University.

With the victories, Lindenwood improved to 12-6 overall and to 8-0 in conference.  After an idle weekend, the Lady Lions return to the pool April 21-22 for the Midwest Division Championship tournament in South Bend, Indiana.
