The Lindenwood cross country teams opened the 2018 season against Truman State on Thursday night in Kirksville, MO.

The men's team picked up a victory against the Bulldogs, compiling a total time of 1:56:14.00 as a team (23:14.80 average time per runner).

The Lions had three runners finish in the top three positions. Jerod Broadbrooks won the race with a time of 21:46.00, while
Austin Crowe (21:48.00) finished in second and Ben Stasney (22:48.00) finished in third.

The women's team could not keep up with the Bulldogs, but did have two runners finish in the top five.
Kayli Brower had the best performance on the team, finishing in fourth with a final time of 19:50.00.

Both teams will be back in action on September 15
th as they head out to Joplin, MO to take on Missouri Southern State.
