East London, South Africa native Hanna Muller will play for her home country at the 17
th FINA Women's Water Polo World Cup September 4-9 in Surgut, Russia. The

returning Lindenwood sophomore attacker is one of 13 named to the team by the Swim South Africa Executive Committee.
South Africa is one of only eight teams participating and will face New Zealand, the United States, and Canada in Pool B play. Spain, Australia, China, and Russia comprise the four teams in Pool A. South Africa is scheduled to play Canada first on September 4, followed by the U.S. on September 5, and New Zealand on September 6. The standings after preliminary play will determine the quarterfinal match-ups on September 7. The champion will be crowned on September 9.
Muller led the Lady Lions in 2018 with a team high 59 goals and team high 61 steals. Lindenwood posted its best finish ever in fourth place at the Collegiate Water Polo Association Women's Club National Championships in May.
