The Lindenwood cross country teams competed at the Southern Stampede on Saturday morning in Joplin, MO.
 
The men's team finished the event (8 km) in 17^th out of 27 teams with a final time of 2:24:46.
 
Austin Crowe was the best individual runner for the Lions, finishing in 6^th place with a final time of 25:10.1. Ben Stasny was the second best finish for Lindenwood, finishing in 49^th place with a final time of 26:40.8.
 
The women's team finished the event (5 km) in 27^th out of 34 teams with a final time of 1:42:47.
 
Najwa Chouati finished the race in 92^nd place with a final time of 19:30.6
 
Both teams will be back in action on September 22^nd as they head out to Fayetteville, AR to take on the University of Arkansas.
