Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team aims for a rebound performance against the Lincoln Blue Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
• Lindenwood's game on Saturday will conclude a season-long four-game homestand for the team which began back on Dec. 19. The Lions are 2-1 thus far during the homestand, and are 4-1 inside Hyland Arena to begin the 2018-19 season.
• In its most recent game on Jan. 5, Lindenwood suffered an 85-76 defeat versus the Pittsburg State Gorillas. The Lions entered the second half trailing the Gorillas by five points, and managed to take a five-point lead of their own with under 10 minutes remainng in the game. However, the visitors ended the game on a 25-11 run to secure the victory.
• Dating back to the 1980-81 season, Lindenwood and Lincoln have met 19 times. Lindenwood owns an 11-8 edge in the all-time series, including an 8-5 advantage during MIAA contests, which began in the 2012-13 season. Lincoln has won the last three meetings, including two in St. Charles, Mo.
• The Lions and Blue Tigers will matchup once more during the 2018-19 season. The two teams will square off at Jason Gym in Jefferson City, Mo. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Chandler Diekvoss recorded his fourth straight game with at least 20 points on Jan. 5 against Pittsburg State. Diekvoss ended the contest with 25 points (9-of-16 FG), marking the fifth time this season that he has posted a 20-point effort in a game.
• Along with leading the team in points scored, Diekvoss also paced the Lions in rebounds (11) and assists (6). In the process, Diekvoss matched a career-high with his six assists, and picked up his third double-double of the year.
• Over his last four games, Diekvoss is averaging a team-high 23.3 points per game and is shooting 62.5 percent from the field. During that same four-game stretch, Diekvoss is grabbing an average of 9.0 rebounds per game, also a team-high total.
• Diekvoss currently ranks 15th in the MIAA in scoring average (15.8 ppg) and is 10th in the conference in rebounding average (6.9 rpg).Â

Brad Newman scored 18 points (7-of-18 FG, 4-of-9 3PFG) against Pittsburg State on Jan. 5, including his 1,000th career point. Newman became the 13th member of the program's 1,000-point club.
• Newman is tied for ninth in the MIAA in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game. Newman has scored in double figures in all but one game this season, and has led the team in scoring eight times.

Luka Radosevic established a new single-game career-high with a 14-point performance against Pittsburg State on Jan. 5. Radosevic was 5-of-9 from the field, including four makes from three-point range, also a new career-high.

Adam Pohlman scored 13 points on Jan. 5, connecting on 3-of-7 from behind the arc. Pohlman has five games this season with at least 10 points.
• Pohlman was second on the team with three assists in the game against Pittsburg State, only the fourth time this season that he has failed to lead the team in that category. Pohlman is tied for third in the MIAA in assists per game (5.1).
• Pohlman had zero turnovers in the game against Pittsburg State, and has one or less turnovers in 11 of his 16 games this season. Pohlman ranks third in NCAA Division II with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 4.29.
• Lindenwood made 12 three-point field goals in the game against Pittsburg State, its sixth game this season with more than 10 made three-pointers, and its first since Nov. 23, snapping a stretch of six consecutive games.
• Lindenwood's loss to Pittsburg State snapped the team's five-game winning streak from inside Hyland Arena dating back to the end of the 2017-18 regular season. The winning streak matched the program's longest since it won five consecutive games during the 2016-17 season.
Scouting the Competition
• Lincoln enters Saturday's matchup with a record of 10-3, including a 3-1 mark from within the MIAA.
• The Blue Tigers currently sit in fourth place in the conference standings, and are one of five teams that have one or fewer losses in MIAA play.
• Lincoln was tabbed ninth in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, after finishing the 2017-18 season with a 15-14 record.
• The Blue Tigers arrive in St. Charles, Mo. as one of the hottest teams in the MIAA, as winners of six consecutive games and eight of their last nine.
• In its most recent game on Jan. 5, Lincoln took down No. 20 Missouri Southern from Jefferson City, Mo. The Blue Tigers knocked off the visiting Lions by a final score of 90-83.
• Lincoln is led offensively by Terrance Smith. Smith is tied for ninth in the MIAA in scoring at 17.9 ppg. Smith is shooting 59.9 percent from the field, the third best mark inside the conference.
• The Blue Tigers have three other scorers that average double-digit points, including Amariontez Ivory (14.0 ppg).
