Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team is set to host the Central Oklahoma Bronchos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
• In its most recent game on Jan. 19, Lindenwood snapped a three-game losing skid at Central Missouri, winning in Warrensburg, Mo. by a final score of 62-57. The Lions have now won each of their previous four meetings with the Mules.
• Lindenwood and Central Oklahoma have met nine times dating back to the 2011-12 season. The Bronchos own a narrow 5-4 edge in the all-time series. The Lions have won two of the last three matchups, and three of the five all-time meetings in St. Charles, Mo.
• The Lions are 4-2 on their home court this season, with both losses coming in their last two games. Lindenwood dropped its last two home contests by identical nine-point margins.

• Newman ranks seventh in the MIAA in overall scoring at 19.1 points per game. Newman is currently averaging 22.3 points per game against conference opponents, the second-highest mark in the MIAA.
• Newman matched a single-game high with three steals at Central Missouri to lead the team. Newman has led the team in steals seven times this year.
• Newman finished the game at Central Missouri perfect from the free-throw line (7-of-7). Among qualified shooters (min. 2.5 made FT/G), Newman ranks sixth in the MIAA, connecting on 84.3 percent of his attempts.

Chandler Diekvoss recorded his fifth double-double of the season at Central Missouri on Jan. 19. Diekvoss accounted for 12 points (4-of-10 FG) and 11 rebounds.

• Lindenwood overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat Central Missouri on Jan. 19. The win, when trailing at the half, was Lindenwood's third in nine tries this season.

• Central Oklahoma's lone win in conference this season came on Jan. 10 at Nebraska-Kearney. In its most recent game on Jan. 19, Central Oklahoma suffered a 104-82 setback at the hands of Missouri Southern.
• Adarius Avery leads the Bronchos offensively, averaging 20.0 points per game, the fourth-best mark in the MIAA. Avery is shooting 54.2 percent from the field and 80.3 percent from the free-throw line.
