Head Coach
Lance Randall
"That was back-to-back games in which we have made plays and managed to close out a close game," said Coach Randall. "Newman played like an All-American tonight. His three-pointer to tie the game late was clutch basketball at its finest. He carried us on both sides of the ball down the stretch. Womack was very good offensively, and Dominique anchored our defense all night. We got stops in the final two minutes and then in overtime and were able to separate. Our crowd was great and I know they gave us a boost when we should have been exhausted. I am proud of the resiliency we are starting to show, and I am happy for our guys that they were able to get this win in front of their classmates in the crowd."
