Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to three games on Saturday afternoon against Northeastern State. The Lions will host the RiverHawks at 3:30 p.m. from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
• Lindenwood has won its last two games by identical five-point margins, including an 85-80 overtime triumph over Central Oklahoma in its most recent game on Jan. 24.
• The Lions have now gone to overtime in two of their last four games. Lindenwood has not played multiple overtime games in the same season since doing so during the 2015-16 campaign when it also played two overtime contests.
• Lindenwood is 5-2 this season from inside Hyland Arena, where it is averaging 83.9 points per game, and outscoring its opponents by an average of 13.0 points.
• The Lions and RiverHawks have met nine times dating back to the 2011-12 season. Lindenwood leads the all-time series, 6-3. In the four matchups from Hyland Arena, each team has recorded two wins.
• Lindenwood has won three of its previous four contests against Northeastern State, including a 64-56 road victory on Jan. 4, 2018 during last season.

Brad Newman scored a career-high 42 points to lead all scorers on Jan. 24 in the overtime victory over Central Oklahoma. Newman was 12-of-19 from the field, and matched a career-high with five made three-pointers.
• Newman has now scored at least 10 points in 18 of his 19 games this season, and surpassed the 20-point mark 10 times. Newman has led the Lions in scoring 11 times this season.
• Newman ranks fourth in the MIAA in overall scoring at 20.3 points per game. Newman is currently averaging 24.8 points per game against conference opponents, the highest mark in the MIAA.
• Newman got to the free-throw line a career-high 15 times in the game against Central Oklahoma, making 13 of those attempts, also a new career-high. In his eight games against MIAA competition this season, Newman has hit 89.5 percent of his free throws (51-of-57).
• Following his 42-point performance, Newman now owns the highest single-game scoring effort for a player within the MIAA this season. Lindenwood's
Chandler Diekvoss has the second-highest scoring game of the season for a player in the conference (38 pts. vs. Lincoln, 1/12/19).

Diego Womack established a new career-high on Jan. 24 with a 17-point performance against Central Oklahoma. Womack hit on 8-of-13 from the field, to pick up his 10th double-digit performance of the season.
• Womack led the Lions in rebounding for the fifth time this season, collecting seven rebounds in the game.

Dominique Dobbs entered the starting lineup for the first time this season on Jan. 24, and provided one of his most complete efforts of the season. Dobbs totaled six points and six rebounds in 23 minutes of action.

Luka Radosevic provided a strong effort off of the bench for the Lions against the Bronchos. Radosevic scored seven points and secured six rebounds in 26 minutes.

Adam Pohlman led Lindenwood in assists for the 16th time this season against Central Oklahoma, finishing the evening with four assists. Pohlman currently ranks third in the MIAA with an average of 5.0 assists per game.
• Pohlman is currently ranked third in NCAA Division II with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 4.04.
• Lindenwood finished its game against Central Oklahoma shooting 52.7 percent from the field (29-of-55). The Lions shot 67.6 percent (23-of-34) from inside the three-point line.
• The Lions continued their trend of success when holding the edge in rebounding over their opponent on Jan. 24, as Lindenwood secured 33 rebounds to Central Oklahoma's 30. The Lions are now 10-2 this season when holding the advantage on the glass, as opposed to just 1-7 when not.
• Following its game with Central Oklahoma, Lindenwood now owns an 8-1 record when attempting more free throws than its opponent this season.
Scouting the Competition
• Northeastern State enters Saturday afternoon's matchup with a record of 10-8, including a 4-4 mark from within the MIAA.
• The RiverHawks currently sit in 8th place in the MIAA, and are just 0.5 games behind seventh-place, Lindenwood.
• Northeastern State was picked for 12th place in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, after finishing the 2017-18 season with an 8-20 record.
• The RiverHawks will arrive in St. Charles, Mo. as one of the MIAA's hottest teams, winners of four straight games, the second-longest active winning streak in the conference.
• In its most recent game on Jan. 24, Northeastern State earned an 80-72 road victory over Lincoln from Jefferson City, Mo. In that game, Caleb Smith had double-double, totaling 28 points and 11 rebounds.
• Smith leads the RiverHawks in scoring this season with an average of 16.1 points per game.
• During its current four-game winning streak, all of which have come against MIAA opponents, Northeastern State is outscoring the opposition by an average of 9.75 points per game.
