Lindenwood Notes:
- The Lions host five other teams as part of the inaugural Lindenwood Invitational at Hyland Arena. Lindenwood will battle current #1 and defending national champions Long Beach State, Lourdes and Alderson Broaddus in the tournament. McKendree and Quincy also will play those teams.
- Lindenwood enters the tournament 2-4 overall after defeating Saint Francis (Pa.) in five and dropping a three-setter to Penn State last weekend.
- The Lions are led on the attack by
Charley Hlavin, who leads the team with 2.83 kills per set.
- Lindenwood features one of the top middle tandems in the NCAA in
Connor Hipelius and
Sam Schindler. Hipelius currently records 2.33 kills per set with a .538 attack percentage and seven aces. Schindler has 1.26 kills per set with a .333 attack percentage. The duo has combined for 48 blocks this season.
- Lion setter
Adam Brewster posts 9.74 assists per set, third in the MIVA.
