Several Lindenwood cyclocross riders earned podium finishes at the Major Taylor Cross Cup November 15-17 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Category 4 race began competition on Saturday with Josh Elz taking 18^th and Franck Bock finishing 38^th.  The Men's Collegiate Conference Championships followed with Byrne Dobrient making the podium in third place.  Micah Mason took seventh in the Women's Collegiate Conference Championship.

Tough weather conditions greeted the riders on Sunday with frozen ground early that started to defrost and melt towards the end of the Cat 4 race.  Elz was not able to finish due to a crash, but Franck took 40^th place out of 70.

The Men's U23 event proved to be an even crazier affair with four crashes in the first few minutes and more later in the race.  Dobrient posted his best result in cyclocross to date with a win for the top step on the podium.  Justin Bird was involved in a crash, and dealt with mechanical issues later that kept him from finishing.  Mason earned a top 10 finish in the Women's U23 race.

After a weekend off, the BMX squad will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma for Grands November 27 to December 1.  Competition begins Wednesday at the Tulsa Expo Center.
