Men's water polo retained the top spot in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Men's Collegiate Club Top 20 poll. 

The Lions received 100 points for week seven for an eight-point advantage over the University of California – San Diego in second.  The University of Southern California jumped from outside of the top 20 to number three.  California State University – Maritime Academy moved from ninth to fourth, and the University of Utah rounded out the top five, moving up two spots from a tie at seventh the week prior. 

Lindenwood finished up the regular season with a record of 17-6 and another championship in the Missouri Valley Division.  The Lions will be the number one seed at the 2019 CWPA Men's Collegiate Club Championship November 15-17 at the Trees Hall Fitness Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Lindenwood will play the first game of the event on Friday at 9 a.m. against an opponent to be determined later this week.
