Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team welcomes Avila to Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. for a non-conference matchup on Dec. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
• During its most recent game on Dec. 12, Lindenwood snapped a three-game losing skid, as it doubled up Hannibal-LaGrange, defeating the Trojans by a 100-50 final.
• Dating back to 1975-76, Lindenwood and Avila have matched up 36 times during the all-time series. The Eagles hold a narrow 19-17 lead during those 36 matchups, however, the Lions have won each of the last six meetings.
• The two teams last met during the first round of the 2011 HAAC Tournament. Lindenwood defeated Avila by a final score of 85-65 in that game, marking the third time the Lions had knocked off the Eagles that season.
• Lindenwood enters Tuesday evening's matchup with a 4-3 record on the season. The Lions are averaging 87.0 points per game, the second-highest total in the GLVC through their first seven games. Lindenwood has already eclipsed the 100-point mark on two occasions this season.

Vijay Blackmon scored a game-high 23 points during Lindenwood's 100-50 win over Hannibal-LaGrange on Dec. 12. Blackmon finished the game shooting 71.4 percent from the field (10-of-14).
• Blackmon has now led the Lions in two games this season, and has scored at least 20 points in each of the last three games. Blackmon ranks second on the team and 10th in the GLVC in scoring this season (17.8 ppg).

TJ Crockett added 21 points (6-of-9 FG, 8-of-8 FT) versus Hannibal-LaGrange. Crockett has surpassed the 20-point plateau in all seven games this season for the Lions.
• Crockett ranks first in the GLVC and fourth in NCAA Division II in points per game, averaging 27.0 ppg. Crockett is connecting on 51.2 percent of his field goal attempts this season, ranking 12th in the GLVC.

Luka Radosevic matched a career-high with 14 points scored in the win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Radosevic had a perfect night shooting the ball, hitting all five of his field-goal attempts and each of his two free throws.

Kamau Kinder established a season-high with a 13-point effort versus Hannibal-LaGrange. Kinder led the team with three makes from behind the arc, his most in a game this season.
• On the other end of the floor, Kinder had one of the most dominant defensive performances in program history, establishing a new single-game steals record with eight.
• Also against Hannibal-LaGrange, Kinder tied for the team lead with four assists. Crockett and
Sukhman Bhinder each also dished out four assists in the game.
• With his four-assist performance, Bhinder has now led Lindenwood in assists five times this season. Bhinder ranks eighth in the GLVC in assists per game (4.1 apg) and is third in the conference and 19th in NCAA Division II in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.63).

Anthony Christian secured a team-high eight rebounds during Lindenwood's win over Hannibal-LaGrange on Dec. 12, setting a new single-game career-high.
• Christian leads the Lions on the glass this season, averaging 4.7 rebounds per game.
Cameron Scales (4.6 rpg) and Crockett (4.6 rpg) rank just behind Christian.
• As a team, Lindenwood had its best shooting performance of the season against Hannibal-LaGrange, finishing with a 61.9 percent (39-of-63) mark from the field.
• Against Hannibal-LaGrange, the Lions forced the Trojans into 30 turnovers during the game, scoring a total of 46 points off of those errors.
• Lindenwood committed just 11 turnovers against Hannibal-LaGrange. The Lions rank first in the GLVC and sixth in NCAA Division II in fewest total turnovers (76).
Scouting the Competition
• Avila arrives in St. Charles, Mo. with a 7-7 record, including a 4-4 mark from within the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
• Just yesterday, Avila traveled to Kansas City, Mo. to face another GLVC opponent in Rockhurst. Avila took down the Hawks by an 80-78 final.
• Following its game at Lindenwood, Avila will visit two other NCAA Division II opponents to close out the 2019 calendar year. The Eagles will visit Fort Hays State on Dec. 20 and Missouri Western on Dec. 31.
• Shandon Boone leads the Avila offense through 14 games this season, averaging 23.3 points per game on 43.1 percent shooting.
• During Avila's win at Rockhurst, Boone exploded for a game-high 30 points (9-of-13 FG, 9-of-9 FT), including the game-winning layup with just six seconds remaining.
• Eric Smith Jr. (15.1 ppg) and Brandon Phillips (13.1 ppg) are each key contributors to the Avila offense.Â
