Lindenwood Notes:
- The Lions are 2-0 after starting the season with a doubleheader sweep against Quincy last week.
- Lindenwood pitcher Stormee Galka was named the MIAA Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete-game shutout against Quincy. She leads the Lions with five strikeouts.
- Austine Pauley hit .571 in two games against the Hawks, including a double and a triple. She has a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage. 
- As a staff, Lindenwood pitchers have a 1.00 ERA and a .235 batting average against. 
- Lindenwood hitters have a .300 batting average, a .420 slugging percentage and a .352 on-base percentage.

Wisconsin-Parkside Notes:
- The Rangers have opened the season 0-10, most recently dropping both games of a doubleheader against Central Missouri.
- Kellie Fenza is the top hitter for UWP, posting a .500 batting average with a .625 slugging and a .579 on-base, leading the team in all three categories.
- Allison Hausl leads the rotation with a 3.23 ERA and a .326 average against.

#16 Grand Valley State Notes:
- GVSU is ranked 16th in the most recent NFCA poll and are the favorites to win the GLIAC this season.
- They are led by All-American pitcher Allison Lipovsky, the back-to-back GLIAC Pitcher of the Year. Last year, she was 22-5 with a 0.81 ERA with 15 total shutouts.
- Offensively, Kaylie Rhynard was a first-team All-GLIAC selection last year after hitting .407 with 11 doubles, two doubles and a triple. 

Purdue Northwest Notes:
- Purdue Northwest has yet to play this season, but was 26-26 last year.
- Taylor Kotzo returns for her senior season after hitting .310 with four home runs and 33 RBIs a year ago.
- The Pride returns all three arms from last season. Samantha Burgard and Courtney Blackwell led the team with eight wins. Burgard led the team with 56 strikeouts. 

Ashland Notes:
- Ashland opens the season after going 23-25 a year ago.
- Ashland returns Paige Summers, who led the team with nine home runs and 35 RBIs last season. 2017 GLIAC Freshman of the Year Dayna Denner returns for her junior year after being limited by injury last season.
- Pitcher Hannah Stroe led the team with nine wins and 88 strikeouts a year ago while posting a 3.26 ERA.
