Lindenwood softball split its doubleheader on the final day of the Rosemont Dome Invitational. The Lions' rally fell short in a 5-4 loss to Purdue Northwest, but rebounded to run rule Ashland 14-1 in five innings. The Lions are now 5-1 overall this season.

- The Lions trailed by three runs entering the bottom of the seventh against Purdue Northwest. An RBI triple from
Stormee Galka and an RBI single from Hannah Porter drew the Lions within one, but ultimately fell for the first time this season.

The Lions play Illinois-Springfield and Lewis on March 1 in Peoria, Ill. The games were originally scheduled for Saturday, March 2, but the tournament has been relocated to Peoria.
