The BMX cycling squad found success with multiple riders advancing to mains at Sooner Nationals February 7-9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jason Bright became the first to make a main in the Pro Open division where he took eighth on Friday. He finished seventh overall in points on Saturday and finished fifth in the Pro Open main on Sunday.
Joe Schnapp took third in the 21-25 Novice main both days.
Cooper Bromley crashed in the semifinals of the 17-20 Expert division on Saturday, placing him seventh, and then he took second in his first moto on Sunday, but crashed in the main to finish seventh again.
Skylar Schaetz raced the 17-20 Women's Expert division where she took third in the first moto, first in the second moto to advance, and then finished seventh in the main.
Lexi Nephew just raced on Saturday where she took third in the second moto, just missing the main.
Nathaniel Cotton finished second in his first moto in the 21-25 Expert division on Saturday to advance, and then he took fourth in the main. He finished second in the total points competition.
The cycling team travels to Auburn, Alabama for a road event February 15-16 hosted by Auburn University.
