The Lions competed at the UIndy Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Indianapolis, Ind. Both the men's and women's teams accumulated top three finishes at the meet.
MEN'S OVERVIEW
The men's team finished in second with 702 points, just behind Indianapolis.
MEN'S TOP FINISHERS
- Elliott Irwin recorded a 1st place finish in the 100 Yard Fly (48.59). He also tallied a 1st place finish in the 100 Yard Free.
- Matheo Mateos-Mongelos tallied a 2nd place finish in the 500 Yard Free with a time of 4:28.75.
- Mateos-Mongelos also earned 2nd in the 200 Yard IM (1:51.39).
- Mateos-Mongelos, Jerry Brown, Patryk Winiatowski, and Zach Linder combined for a quad finish of 2nd in the 400 Yard Medley Relay.
- David Molina-Fregenal tallied 2nd in the 3 Meter Dive with a score of 288.30.
- Linder, Irwin, Winiatowski, and Ryan Boeding earned 3rd in the 200 Yard Free Relay.
- Brown finished 2nd in the 100 Yard Breast with a time of 54.53.
- Melker Olsson secured 2nd place in the 200 Yard Back with a time of 1:49.99.
WOMEN'S OVERVIEW
The women's squad capped off the UIndy Invitational with a third place finish after accumulating 669.5 points.
