Box Score Lindenwood field hockey (6-8) was shutout in a 2-0 loss at Belmont Abbey (9-5, 6-4 CC) on Saturday.
GAME OVERVIEW
Entering halftime down, 1-0, the Lions were held to four shots. The team recorded one save and two penalty corners in the first 30 minutes of competition.
In the final two quarters of play, the Lindenwood offense recorded 10 shots to the opposition's five, while making one save and tallying four penalty corners. It marks just the second time this season that the Lions were shutout.
