Box Score 2 The No. 6 Lindenwood baseball team (11-0, 7-0 GLVC) took both games of its doubleheader with Drury on Saturday. The Lions won the first game 3-2, and swept the day with a 9-7 win in the second game in Ozark, Mo.
GAME ONE OVERVIEW
Blake Beckmann had a great performance on the bump for the Lions, as he bounced back from a two-run third inning that gave Drury an early lead.
Calvin Nowak drew a walk to lead off the fourth inning, and later scored on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 2-1. Nowak reached base to start the sixth inning as well, after being plunked by a pitch.
Logan Rezash drove in Nowak on an-RBI single to tie the game at 2-2.
Beau Collier registered the go-ahead RBI on a single in the seventh inning, giving the Lions a 3-2 lead. Beckmann was nails the rest of the way, as he registered two strikeouts in the ninth inning to cap off a 3-2 win in the first game on Saturday. Beckmann tallied six strikeouts in his nine innings to pick up his second victory of the year.

GAME TWO OVERVIEW
The second game of Saturday's doubleheader started slow, but runs were scored in bunches starting in the fourth inning. The Lions scored a pair of runs with the help of fielding miscues by the Panthers. With bases loaded, Collier drove in two runs on a single to make it a 4-0 ballgame.
Sam Kissane drove in a run on a sacrifice fly, before another fielding errors added two more runs for the Lions, ending the inning with a 7-0 Lindenwood lead.
Alex Canty added a run in the top of the fifth with an-RBI single, but Drury would claw back in the bottom of the inning. The Panthers scored five runs on three hits and one error, and tacked on two more runs in the sixth inning on four hits.
With an 8-7 lead, Lindenwood led off the top of the eighth with a walk by Kissane. After swiping second, Kissane advanced to third on a wild throw by the catcher.
Jayce Maag came up two batters later and drove in Kissane to make it a two-run ballgame.
Brody Roach was able to close out the game after tossing the final 1.1 innings as he shut down the Panthers.
