The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (5-12, 2-12 MIVA) opens up the 2021 MIVA Tournament with a Quarterfinals matchup at No. 10 Loyola Chicago (13-5, 9-5 MIVA) on Saturday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m.
The Lions fell in both of their matchups this season at the Ramblers in early February. It is the second time in MIVA Tournament history that the two teams will face off, with the last time coming in 2018, in Chicago, Ill. Loyola Chicago won that bout, 3-0.
Against the Ramblers this season, AJ Lewis leads with 23 kills in seven sets, and
Diego Negron is second with 20 kills.
Alex Pappas has totaled eight blocks, and Negron has tallied 11 digs.
Brian Schwob is averaging 29.5 set assists per match against Loyola Chicago.
The winner of the match will face the winner of McKendree vs. Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, April 14. The lower seed will travel to play at the higher seed in that contest.
