The USA Lacrosse Magazine announced the Division II women's lacrosse All-Americans on Wednesday afternoon. The Lions earned three selections across the two teams, the second-most of any school represented.
Lexy Biller landed on the first-team, while
Hailey Dobbins and
Erin McGuire garnered second-team recognition.
Biller leads the team in goals with 39 across 16 games played. The senior midfielder compiled nine games in which she scored three goals or more. Biller set the program record for draw controls in a game (14) twice this season, in games against Findlay and McKendree. The Ashburn, Va. native currently tanks fifth in program history with 158 draw controls in her Lindenwood career.
McGuire, a Westminster, Md. native leads the team in assists (47) and points (85), while ranking second on the team in goals (38). The graduate attack compiled two games of 10 points or more this season, in those games, she added eight assists. The 10 points in a game are tied for the second-most in a game in program history. The eight assists are also second-most in a single-game in program history.
Dobbins earned second-team honors for her efforts on the defensive side of the ball. The Syracuse, N.Y. native has been an integral part of a defensive unit that has surrendered just 7.69 goals per game, which ranks 14th in the nation. The graduate defender native ranks third in the GLVC in caused turnovers per game (1.69), while adding five goals and four assists this season.
The Lions will return to action on Friday in the NCAA semifinal game where they will take on Roberts Wesleyan College, beginning at 6:00 p.m. from Salem, Va
