2025 Recap
In 2025, Lindenwood posted its second-consecutive 10-win season, going 10-6. The Lions made the ASUN Conference Tournament for the third-straight year, and advanced to the semifinals for the second consecutive year. The Black and Gold boasted the No. 2 scoring offense in the ASUN at nearly 14 goals per game.
The attack was led by a trio of 40+ goal scorers in
Luci Selander,
Reese Krieger, and
Alissa DiGiacinto. Selander and Krieger were First Team All-Conference selections. Additionally, Selander was named the ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Lindenwood was picked to finish fifth in the preseason poll, earning 44 points overall. Selander was tabbed to the Preseason All-ASUN Team after an outstanding junior campaign.
A Win Would
- Move the Lions to 20-1 in their last 21 season openers
- Improve the Lions' record against the Golden Flashes to 4-0
Scouting Kent State
- Kent State finished the 2025 season with a 6-11 record, including a 1-5 mark inside conference play
- The Golden Flashes were led offensively by Zayda Crumpton who had 51 points coming from 37 goals and 14 assists
- Kent State was fifth in the MAC in goals last season with 164
- Sydney Davis started 13 games in net, making 127 saves and posting a 10.62 GAA
