Head Coach
Julie Carter has announced the addition of Marnus Prinsloo to the cycling team for the 2021-22 season. The Pretoria, South Africa resident recently graduated from Afrikaans Hoër Seunskool.
Prinsloo participated in a varsity of sports before trying mountain bike riding in 2018. He instantly fell in love with it and has been focused on the discipline ever since as part of the Spur Schools Mountain Bike League where he raced for his high school team, and also as part of the Absolute Motion Cycling Club.

Prinsloo explained why he likes cycling so much.
"It's difficult to explain why I love riding so much, I just do," he said. "Riding my bike makes me feel free. I also love the social aspect of cycling - long group rides with maybe a coffee stop along the way."
Prinsloo has several athletes that he admires.
"If it's just in the world of cycling, I'd probably say Peter Sagan, he began. "He is such a good cyclist and he loves what he does. Overall, I'd say either Kobe Bryant or Tom Brady. They are both athletes that show the importance of hard work and a good work ethic."
Prinsloo is a coffee enthusiast, plays guitar, and was actually born in Saudia Arabia and lived there for 10 years. He arrives as a freshman and hopes to reach his full potential as an athlete in college. While officially undecided, he is leaning towards studying something in the business field at Lindenwood University.
